Chelmer Village is a residential area in East Chelmsford, approximately 2 miles from the Town Centre.

There is free on street parking available and there is a regular local bus service to the centre of Chelmsford (71, 71A, 71B, and 47). 

The 47 bus route also covers Springfield (Sainsburys), Beaulieu Park, North Springfield, Broomfield (Skerry Rise; & Broomfield Hospital).

The 71 bus route also covers Boreham, Hatfield Peveral, Witham and further stops to Colchester.
